1.
What
is
the
difference
between
a
copywriter
and
a
commercial
freelance
writer?
|
|
Actually
a
commercial
freelance
writer
is
a
copywriter;
however
their
background
is
in
corporate
or
business
communications
rather
than
publishing
short
stories
or
novels.
|
|
Businesses
are
in
frequent
need
of
writing
services
to
fill
their
advertisements,
brochures,
catalogs
and
sales
letters.
They
also
require
writing
services
for
company
newsletters,
website
content,
public
relations
materials
and
executive
messaging.
|
|
Many
companies
now
use
freelance
commercial
writers
rather
than
employ
someone
in-house
because
freelance
commercial
writers
are
flexible,
only
paid
when
they’re
working
on
a
specific
job,
and
can
be
hired
based
upon
their
specialty
rather
than
a
generalist.
|
|
2.
Why
should
I
hire
a
freelance
commercial
writer
for
my
project?
|
|
Successful
companies
are
ones
that
communicate
well
to
their
customers
and
employees.
Hiring
a
freelance
commercial
writer
is
very
beneficial
for
most
companies
because
they
have
the
freedom
of
paying
someone
for
the
work
they
produce
without
the
added
expenses
of
hiring
a
full-time
employee.
|
|
Large
and
small
companies
can
benefit
from
a
commercial
freelance
writer.
A
company
with
a
staff
dedicated
to
marketing
and
communications
can
use
a
freelance
writer
as
a
supplement,
when
assignments
are
booming
and
free
hands
are
hard
to
find.
Smaller
companies,
with
no
in-house
staff
dedicated
to
marketing
and
communications
can
hire
a
freelance
writer
to
assist
them
with
the
projects
they
need,
when
they
need
them,
saving
money
by
paying
per-project
rather
than
hiring
a
full
or
part
time
employee.

3.
Do
you
focus
on
a
specific
type
of
writing?
|
|
As
a
commercial
freelance
writer,
I
can
provide
you
with
a
wide-range
of
marketing
and
communications
support.
However,
my
specialty
is
employee
communications,
specifically
focused
on
human
resource
initiatives.
My
goal
is
to
support
the
communication
needs
of
your
company
by
writing
messages
in
a
clear,
concise
and
consistent
manner
that
is
easily
understood
by
the
intended
audience.
|
|
4.
Do
you
outsource
your
work
to
other
writers?
|
|
All
of
the
writing
and
strategic
support
is
provided
directly
by
myself,
however
if
you
need
assistance
with
a
design
concept
or
production,
I
work
with
professional
freelance
individuals
in
the
areas
of
graphic,
print
and
web
design.
|
|
5.
What
type
of
payment
do
you
accept?
|
|
At
this
point
in
time
I
accept
personal
or
business
checks
as
my
only
form
of
payment.
|
|
6.
How
do
we
conduct
our
meetings?
|
|
This
is
up
to
you!
If
you
live
in
the
Central
Florida
area,
I
would
be
more
than
happy
to
come
to
your
business
to
discuss
your
needs
and
provide
you
with
a
portfolio
of
writing
samples.
However,
if
you
live
outside
of
Central
Florida,
we
can
meet
initially
over
the
phone
and
I
can
send
you
electronic
samples
of
my
work.
After
our
initial
meeting,
we
can
meet
as
often
as
needed
to
ensure
your
project
is
being
completed
on
time
and
on
budget.
This
can
be
accomplished
on-site,
through
email
or
by
phone
conference.

7.
Do
you
provide
design
services
as
well?
|
|
I
am
not
a
graphic
designer;
however
I
work
with
many
talented
graphic
designers
in
the
area
who
can
provide
you
with
professional
services
directly
through
me.
I
will
listen
to
your
needs
and
then
write
a
creative
brief
for
the
designer
chosen
for
your
project.
They
will
then
implement
your
design
and
I
will
serve
as
an
intermediary
until
your
project
is
finalized
and
to
your
satisfaction.

|
8.
Our
company
is
not
located
in
your
area.
Can
you
still
provide
services
to
us?
|
|
Of
course!
With
today’s
technology,
writing
can
be
done
almost
anywhere.
I
will
work
with
you
to
provide
professional
services
no
matter
where
your
business
is
located.
